So Britt says to me hey I’m bringing over you a beer to try. I say OK! He hands me a can with very interesting artwork. On the can is art work of a few fuzzy baby ducks and a Unicorn… The Unicorn is pooping a rainbow, the ducks are sliding down and seem very happy about!
If you listened to Eps 5 you heard me crack open the can and give it a taste and let me tell you… it’s nice! After a few sips I can see why when New England Brewing Company releases it every year it becomes very hard to find. When I first started trying IPAs I have to admit the ones I tried where little hard to drink when you are not expecting that “bite”. After trying a few I have discovered some I really enjoy. I have also discovered there are a lot more intro type IPAs where the bitterness doesn’t smack you in the face like a fish jumping out of water – Fuzzy Baby Ducks is one of those.
The flavor is smooth and filled with a mix of citrus of orange and grapefruit and it is not overwhelming at all. There is no bite to it per say which adds to its ease of drinking. If you can find this beer I highly suggest giving it a try!
Seriously, if you don’t believe me about the art work go look it up…
Currently Fuzzy Baby Ducks has a 4.4 on Untapped.
