Week 8 DFS Picks (Including Thursday Flyover)

Lots of interesting options this week in DFS, so let’s start by dismissing the one game, no one should touch in anyway, shape or form. Seriously, if you want to cash this week, stay out of this game altogether, there will be someone with value but I’m not liking it at all, so I’m urging folks to stay out of this game. Week 7 DFS breakdown: Alert Level: Crazy Cat Lady

I seriously want to put on a housecoat, walk around with bag full of cats and just mumble incoherently. Week 7 was that bad. This entire season has been hit or miss, I did ok in a couple of lineups thanks to guys like Elliott and Ginn, but I didn’t really talk about them in the article, the guys I used from the article were overall terrible and this entire season has been like that, its been difficult to predict in the cash game, but I’m not giving up! I actually still have a chance with the Monday night game to have a profitable week, that being said, let’s cover where we got it right and where we got it wrong. Continue reading “Week 7 DFS breakdown: Alert Level: Crazy Cat Lady”

Week 6 DFS: Threat Level – Hank Scorpio

One of the most memorable ‘one and done’ appearances in Simpsons history is Homer’s new boss Hank Scorpio. He is an amazingly charming man who is all about the people who work for him, only it turns out he is a super villain bent on destruction – that was week 6. Week 6 was very good to me but Continue reading “Week 6 DFS: Threat Level – Hank Scorpio”

Britt LOVES Thursdays…Wait, What?

I love Thursday nights! Have I mentioned how much I love Thursday night games? The early start, setting your season long lineup early, having to make a call on a questionable guy scheduled to play on a Monday and your back up plays Thursday so you HAVE to make a call? Thursday nights rock! Yeah, even I can’t buy that line, I still hate Thursday night, except this week! This week there are plays to be made, so let’s dive in. Continue reading “Britt LOVES Thursdays…Wait, What?”

Week 2 DFS Recap: Alert level Lisa

Week 2 Recap

Well week 2 was a little better….. but not much. So far in the NFL season, predictability is not very high. But we’ve only got a couple days till week 3 kicks off, so let’s recap week 2 and later this week, take a look at Thursday night. Lisa Simpson has always been the cynical optimist in the family, worried about doom but hopeful for the good outcome, so thats where we are this week. Don’t Panic….Yet: Week 2 Preview

David Johnson is out for months? Paylines were way down? Alex Smith was the most productive quarterback in the NFL? Is it the end of days? Can we possibly add any more questions to this preview? Fear Not, FigNation! We are back to cap off week 1 with a little levity and Continue reading “Don’t Panic….Yet: Week 2 Preview”

Week 2 Thursday DFS Preview

Once again…. I hate the Thursday game! This game is a great example as to why: two offenses that sruggled to get anything done in week 1, both on a shortened week, both with major question marks n multiple positions. So let’s dive in!  Continue reading “Week 2 Thursday DFS Preview”

Week 1 DFS Recap: Alert Level – Willie

“I warned ya! Didn’t I warn ya? That chalk was forged by Lucifer himself!” –Groundskeeper Willie

I love The Simpsons, so until I get a cease and desist order from them, I’ll likely be using characters to indicate my alarm level week to week on my lineups. This week, the alarm level is Willie. Willie loves to make dire predictions and then gloat when they come true. I warned you all that early DFS was volatile and this week was just that! Let’s see how my lineups did:  Continue reading “Week 1 DFS Recap: Alert Level – Willie”
